Will the Innova 1000 work with general OBD2 ELM327 compatible apps?

Purpose:

To give a brief explanation of general OBD2 ELM327 compatible apps.

Our Repairsolutions2 app is a more thorough resource when it comes to fix information and predicted maintenance. However, the Innova 1000 was designed to use general OBD2 ELM327 command sets as well. In theory, it should work on all OBD2 ELM327 compatible apps, but some of those may not work with our Innova 1000.
