Purpose
To explain the steps on how to access the Mode 6 Feature of Innova 1000.
Mode 6 on Innova 1000
Mode 6 is one of the OBD Modes that Innova 1000 provides. Mode 6 is stored data for On- Board System Tests when performing a scan. This data shows a broad reading, but provides help by giving the user a starting point on where to begin the troubleshooting process.
With Innova 1000, Mode 6 is under Vehicle Health. To view Mode 6, you can follow the steps below:
Step 1 - Select Read Codes or Whole System.
After pairing with the RS2 app, you can access Vehicle Health by selecting Read Codes or Whole System. |
Step 2 - Wait until the RS2 app reads the data from your vehicle.
The RS2 app will read the data from your vehicle, including the odometer. |
Step 3 - Select Generate Report.
After your vehicle's odometer is read by the RS2 app, select Generate Report. | |
While generating the report, ensure your vehicle is turned to the ON position, and your smart device is close to your Innova 1000. Once the report is generated, a Done message will be shown on the screen. |
Note: Your vehicle’s odometer mileage should automatically be recorded in the odometer field.
Step 4 - View Report Page.
The Report Page will appear after the RS2 app is done generating reports. You can see Mode 6 or Vehicle Health in the following Systems:

Note: If Mode 6 failures are found, use the following system as the starting point of the troubleshooting process. You can use other modes to have more accurate readings, like Mode 1 for Live Data, Mode 2 for Freeze Frame, and Mode 3 for Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
