RepairSolutions2: Setup 1000 Dongle with iPhone & iPad

Step 1 - Get the RepairSolutions2 App.

On your iPhone or iPad, download the RepairSolutions2 app. You can view the app's information online here: iPhone App Store Alternatively, you can:

Open your App Store app on your mobile device.
Search for RepairSolutions2.
Select the download button to begin downloading the app.

Step 2 - Open the App.

Look for the RepairSol2 app icon and select it.

Step 3 - Create an Account.

Once installed, open the App and create your account, you will need:

Email
New Password
Zip or Postal Code

Read and check the box I agree to the EULA/Terms and Privacy Policy.

After completing these steps, select Continue.

Step 4 - Proceed to App.

Select Yes to begin connecting the RS2 app with the Innova 1000.

Step 5 - Connect to Bluetooth.

A Bluetooth connection is required for the RS2 app to work with the Innova 1000. If this popup appears, select OK.

Note: Always make sure Bluetooth is turned on your smart device before you pair, and also while performing a scan with the RS2 app.

Step 6 - Plug your 1000 into your vehicle.

If you're unsure where to plug your Innova 1000 into your vehicle, select the options at the bottom of the screen to find your OBD2 DLC Port. Alternatively, you may check Innova's online OBD2 Locator by clicking HERE.

Step 7 - Turn your Vehicle On.

Turn your vehicle to the ON position. You do not need to start your vehicle.

On this screen:

Check all three boxes once your Bluetooth is on, your OBD2 device is plugged into your vehicle, and your car ignition is turned on.
Select Continue.

Step 8 - Pairing to your 1000.

Wait for the app to search for your Dongle device. Select your device once it appears on the list.

Give your 1000 a moment to pair with the RS2 app.

Once the Success prompt appears in the app, select Continue.

Step 9 - Select an option to begin scanning your vehicle.

Once your tool is paired to the RS2 app, and you added your vehicle information, the system will allow you to begin scanning your vehicle for codes and engine problems.
